LORENZO CEMETERY- NORTH OF LORENZO
Lorenzo High School Engineering Class presented
a program at the Lorenzo Woman s Study Club
The Lorenzo Woman’s
Study Club met Wednesday,
April 13,2016 at Fellowship
Hall, Methodist Church, Lo-
renzo at three o’clock.
Nine members were
served cookies, sandwiches,
and punch by Barbara Dunn
and Billie Jo Bownds. The
table was decorated with col-
orful iris from Billie’ yard.
Barbara Dunn,president,
called the meeting to order.
Cheryl Birdwell read the
minutes of the last meet-
ing. Glenda Yarbrough gave
the treasure report. Suzanne
Wyrick was our guest and
plans to join us as a member.
We always welcome a new
member.
Final plans were made
for the Bridge Tournament
which will be April 23, 2016
at the Lorenzo Community
Center.
Members then went to
the Lorenzo High School
where they attended con-
cepts of engineering class.
Shawn Fulkerson welcomed
the group and showed us
their equipment they were
working with. We enjoyed
seeing the new Epilog Laser
equipment work. Giovanni
Hernandez even punched
out a small keychain holder
with a lasered hornet on each
one. Each of the ladies were
given one.
Felicity Hernandez
showed how she designed a
pencil using the computer.
Josh Costillo showed how
he made a blueprint for a
trailer on the computer. Josh
is now using this blueprint
and building a trailer in his
ag class. Very interesting to
listen to this new technology.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Our next meeting will be
May 11, 2016 at the Fellow-
ship Hall, Methodist Church
Lorenzo with a noon lun-
cheon.
Meeting adjourned with
the club collect.
