lovely day. Snow in this section in No-
vember is rather an unusual occurrence.

eighty acre tract of land, 40 in cultivation,
paying 9850 for it. This year he will
make 9800 in cotton on the 40 acres, to
say nothing of the fruit, 100 bushels of
potatoes, a rick of oats, and 40 shocks of
cane. Pretty good for Erath county.

Candle was said to have been in Dublin
on Saturday. The boys left the horse
they worked on Friday night at Pap
Shelton’s stable, and be is still there. He
is pretty badly used up. On Saturday
evening the gig in which Caudle and
Rose left in was returned by two yonng
men—one named Ben Rose.

against the boys is very strong, and the
