Public Health Service. Dr. Wil-
liam H. Stewart, eaye that first
supplies at a vaccine against the
new Hong Kong lnfluenaa strain
will become available by the
latter part of November.
Dr., Stewart urged that the
first supplies be used exclu-
sively for persons over 68 years
old end those who have some
chronic Illness. These are the
people to whom a respiratory
Infection Is most harmful.
He said a single doss of the
new vaccine will he recom-
mended for protection.
Manufacturers have Informed
