Next meeting date is April 1,
when members will Journey to

Redecorated
Carpenters and brick layers
were busy early this week giv
mg the R and R Cafe on Main
street a complete face lifting,
inside and out.
The face of the building has
been improved with the addition
of a brick front, made from
roman brick, running from the
sidewalk up to the undepside of
the windows.
Inside, new floor oovering has
been laid, repainting and exten
sive redecorating done.
SCOUTS CAMP OUT

The Home and School Club
met for their regular second

The second grade pupils of
Miss Jodie Craddock gave an in
teresting program representing
the twelve months of the- year
and observing Holidays on the
calendar.
Mrs Jack Rhoads, secretary
treasurer, gave tne financial re
pot of $314.80 on, deposit. The
sum of $75.00 u as voted to help
finance the annual senior trip.
It was also voted to pay for the
ribbons for the FFA Calm Show
last week, and
to sponsor the Brownie Troop

INJURED IN ACCIDENT
Rev. Hoyt Brinlee, pastor of
Saltillo Baptist Church, was ad
mitted to Mt Vernon hospital
Tuesday night for observation
following a one car accident on
Highway 37 between Bogata and
Mt Vernon, near White Oak
creek.
Rev. Brinlee. former pastor of
First Baptist Church, Bogota,
was returning to his home In
Saltillo from Bogata shortly
after 10 p. m. when a truck
turned off the road direetly in
front of him. Brinlee swerved to
avoid a collission, and went in
to the ditch, loosing control of
his auto. He was thrown from
the cai-, which turned over sev
eral times and was completely
demolished. Brinlee was alone
in his automobile at the time of
the accident.

sister of Mrs Elbert Tucker of
F'ulbright, died Sunday night in
a Wichita Falls hospital.
Mrs Alice Ophelia Tucker was
bom March 17, 1887 at Clarks
ville, daughter of Mr and Mrs

Funeral services were conduct
ed Wednesday at 2:30 p m at
F'ulbright Baptist Church by
Kev Renfro, assisted by Rev
Joe Everheart. Burial was made
in Bethel Cemetery under direc
tion of Grant Funeral Home.

Hill, Clyde Mitchell, Howard
Reeves, Luther Rozeli, Leo Rid
ens and Charles Malt in.
Survivors include her husband
