TO SOM I . the phrase “for Gotl and Country” is silly ... old
fashioned . . . even corny. But to Barry Goldwater it represents
the deep conviction d- ’ red and molded his character
since he was a boy.
HIS LOVE for his God and his Country is not somethin” he
takes lightly. It is the very soul of the man.
i IiIS IS WHY, when he couid’ve stayed home, that he left a
wife, three small children and a top executive post to light for
his Country for FOUR LONG YEARS in World W;ir II
THIS IS WHY he can look you straight in the eye when he
speaks out on the issues... and you KNOW lie’s tcllini* the
TRUTH!
THIS IS WHY his unblemished record of honesty and integrity
is as refreshing as old-time religion when compared to the moral
decadence and political corruption of the present administration.

"Knowing Lyndon’s record since he came to Washington as clerk to Congressman Kleberg. I cannot sincerely believe that Lyndon's con-
duct has been above suspicion, or that he has abstained from the appearance of evil. Despite the well organized smear against Barry
Goldwater, I believe he is honest, sincere, able and courageous. His record is above suspicion” — MARTIN DIES, SR. ^
