Miss Nelda Westbrook and
Morris Barton of Paris were unit-
ad in marriage at the Seventh
Street Baptist Church, Paris,
Saturday, June 3 at 6:45 p. m.
The Rev. Ken Tierce, pastor of
ike church, officiated at the semi-
formal double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Westbrook of
Deport and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin
Barton of Paris are parents of
the bride-groom.
Mrs. Charles Farmer, sister of

with Tammy Farmer as flower
Ctrl and Tony Farmer, ring bear-
er. Ronnie Westbrook, cousin of

styled empire, complemented
with a bow ut waistline in front
and three quarter bell sleeves.
Her jewelry was a drop pearl
necklace, a gift from her grand-
mother. /
Vows were spoken at the altar
of the church decorated with two
large baskets of white roses. !Mrs.
■ Alice Adkins of Paris presented
traditional wedding music.
A reception honoring the cou-
ple was held at the church follow-
ing the ceremony. The refresh-
ment table was decorated with
an arrangement of yellow roses.
A four tiered wedding cake, top-
ped with a miniature bride and
groom, punch and mints were
served by Misses Nancy Wilker-
son and Kay Mayes of Bogata.
Miss Anna Barton, sister of the
groom, registered guests.
For her wedding trip to points
in Texas and Louisiana, the bride
wore a self-designed white linen
dress with matching accessories.
The couple will make their
home in Paris,, where the groom
is employed at Superior Switch
Hoard. Mrs. Barton is a 1967
graduate of Rivprcrest High
School, active in FFA and FTA
work, editor of school paper and
the recipient of two awards in
home economics in 1967.
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Barton
honored the couple after the
wedding rehearsal, Friday even-
ing at the church. Refreshpients
were served to seventeen mem-
bers of the wedding party. Yel-
low mums decorated the refresh-
ment table.

FAMILY REUNION
Returning home to Bogata af-
ter attending a four-day reunion
of the Teague family, June 1-4,
at Lake Buchanan near Burnet*

program at Thursday meeting of
Bogata WHD Club—giving an in-
teresting historical acount of Bo-
gata and the McCrury commun-
ity. The meeting was held at
Bogata Community House with
Mrs. R. J. Holt, hostess.
Miss Selma Baker, president,
presided over the meeting. A
song was led by Mrs. Jim Gar-
rett. Sixteen members of the
club and their guests answered
roll call with “A Pioneer Citi-
