relating ao the recording and
rerecorcmlg of livestock brands
and marks; and declaring an
emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE
LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE
OF TEXAS:
Section 1. (a) This Act shall
apply to every county In this
State. In all the counties, each
owner of any livestock mention-
ed In Chapter 1 of Title 121 of
the Revised Civil Statutes of
1925 shall within six months
after this Act takes effect, have
his mark and brand for such
stock recorded In the office of
the county clerk of the county.
These owners shall record the
marks and brands whether the
brands and marks have been
previously recorded or not.
(b) The owner shall have the
right to have his mark and brand
recorded In his name who ac-
cording to the present records
of the county first recorded the
brand and mark In the county,
or In event It can not be ascer-
tained from the records who
first recorded the brand and
mark In the county, then the Qf the House

daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Cleo
Hines, Clarksville, celebrates
her first birthday, August 16.
A vaccine to prevent rubella
(German measles) has been ap-
proved by the federal govern-
ment. Widespread use of the
vaccine can wipe out this dis-
ease, which Is a major cause
of birth defects, according to
the March of Dimes.
FRANK C. COUNCIL
Frank Clifton Council Sr.,
retired electrician, Grand
Prairie, died Aug. 4 in Arling-
ton Hospital, Last rites were
conducted Aug. 5, concluded
with a Masonic service.
Deceased was born in Clarks-
ville June 10, 1896 and lived
here until early 1940, when he
moved to Grand Prairie.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Lela Audrey Isbell;
sons, 1-rank C. Council Jr.,
M;D,, Arlington; James Robert
Council, Grand Prairie; daugh-
ter, Nancy council Anderson,
Grand Prairie; sister, Mrs.
Nancy Bell, Abilene; also seven
grand children.
He was an uncle of Mayor
Maurice Isbell of Clarksville,
cousin of Bob Isbell of this city
and p^st grand master, Clarks-
ville Masonic Lodge.

Mrs. Will Moore, life long
resident of Clarksville, died at
her residence at 1011 West
Jai kson August 3 at 10:00 a.m.
Last rites were conducted by
Rev. Sam Ricec turday, August
I, at 11 a.m. .1 First Presby-
terian Church. Interment was
in Clarksville cemetery under
the direction of Jolley’s Funeral
Home.

Dick Moore, Fort Worth; a
daughter, Mrs. Sam Humphreys
of Ft. Worth, six grandchildren

Her husband, William Robert
Moore, died November 5, 1921.
