Nurse Course
Applications
Being Taken
The Associate Degree
Nursing Department at Paris
Junior College now is accepting
applications for the admission
of students in the summer and
fall of 1975, announced Miss
Bldssie Chatman, department
director. Because of a limited
enrollment in the program,
students are encouraged to
contact the PJC department
soon to apply.
Requirements for The
program include a copy of a
high school transcript of G.E.D
scores, scores from the
American College Testing
Program (A.C.T.), and a
personal interview with the
nursing faculty. Appointments
are necessary for interviews,
Mrs. Chatman explained.
The PJC Association
Degree Nursing Department,
now in its seventh year of
operation, is fully accredited by
the Texas State Board of Nurse
Examiners. After graduation,
student nurses are eligible to
take the board examination for
licensure as registered nurses.
Enrolled in the department at
present are 35 freshmen and 26
sophomores from communities
the Northeast Texas and
Southeast Oklahoma regions.
