semi-formal ceremony Saturday ev-
ening at 7:30 o'clock at the First
Baptist Church in Bogata. Rev.
lloyic Hrinlee performed the doub-
le ring ceremony before the altar,
decorated with an arch of green-
ery and white carnations.
The parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs I T Stevenzikn of Boga-
ta, and the groom is the son of
Mr and Mrs. lfarrj Brown of Mt.
Pleasant.
Mrs. Gordon Allen played the
traditional wedding marches and
accompanied Miss Sonya BeH. so-
loist. who sang I Love You Truly,”
and ‘‘Always.”
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a white ballerina
length dress of white satin and
lace. Flowers around the neck
were outlined with seed pearls.
Her half hat of white flowers held
the fingertip veil and she carried
a white Bible topped with white
carnations.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Roy
1-ee Hutson, sister of the bride,
who wore an orchid taffeta dress
i and a wreatli of white flowers in
her hair She carried white carna-
tions. Bridesmaid was Miss Peggy
CorbeJl. She wore a dress identi-
cal to the matron of honor.

was best ami the groom’s father

wore orchid taffeta dress The

and Bobbie Lee Roach. They also
wore dresses of orchid taffeta.
The reception was held in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee
Hutson. The refreshment table,
laid with lace cloth over yellow',
held the bride’s four-tiered cake
topped with miniature bride and
groom. Mrs. A. D. Steven-son of
Waeo, cousin of the bride, poured
punen, and Mrs Billy Jeffries, sis-
ter of the bride, served cake. Miss
Reba Robinson was at the register,
When the couple left for [Kilnis

the bride was wearing a two piece
yellow linen dress, with white ac-
cessories. On *heir return, they
will make their home in Mt. Plea-

Following a wedding trip to
points in Colorado, Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel are at home at Annona.
Mrs. Daniel attended high schools
at Deport and Clarksville.
Mr. Daniel is a gradual* of
the Annona High School and East
Texas State College at Commerce.

BOGATA GARDEN CLUB
Bogata Garden Club met June
20 with Mrs. Anna Griffis. The
club opened with the club song
and prayer. The president presid-
ed over the business meeting.
The club voted to help buy a
hospital bed. The bed is to belong
to the' city of Bogata and to be
used by anyone needing it.
During the social hour, the hos-
tess served refreshments of ice
cream, cake and mints.
Roll call was answered with ‘
