The Yoakum Bulldog Boost-
er Club holds a meeting every
Monday at 7 p.m. in the High
school gym.
YHS Jr. Class
Poinsettia Fundraiser
The YHS Junior class is
selling poinsettias for their
fundraiser. The tickets can be
purchased for $12 each from
any Junior Class Student,
parent or at Yoakum National
Bank. Poinsettias are sched-
uled for delivery to YHS on
Dec. 1 and can be picked up
from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30
p.m. Your support will be ap-
preciated.

Augustine Rosales and his
staff at the Sonic Drive In,
for locating and retrieving my
coin purse with all contacts
intact, that 1 had accidently
thrown in the trash earlier
on Oct. 14.
I really thank Sonic Drive
In management for training
the employees to be courte-
ous, helpful and caring in
their service to customers.

There will be a meeting
for Cub Scout Pack 224 on

The Yoakum FFA chicken
barbecue with all the trim-
mings will be held Wednes-

munity Center. Plates are to
go only and will be served

a plate. Tickets are available
from any FFA member. All
proceeds go to FFA scholar-

Club Meeting Nov. 20
The Carefree Seniors Trav-
el Club will meet on Tuesday,
Nov. 20 at 9:30 a m. at the
Victoria Senior Citizens Cen-
ter, located at the corner of

Our club is open to any-

Gonzales Trail of Lights
Starting Nov. 23rd
You have a chance to ex-
perience Christimas from the
past at the Trail of Lights at
the Gonzales Pioneer Village
Living History Center. It will
be on three consecutive week-
ends. It will start on Nov. 23
and 24, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7 and
8. The village is open from
6 till 9 p.m. Admission will
be $5 for adults and $3 for
children. Thousands of lights
will adorn the trees and trails.
Wassail and cookies will be
served in the saloon. Carolers
will fill the air with music.
