In 2-Car
Accident Here
There were no Injuries in a
two-car accident early Wed-
nesday morning on Henderson
Street, according to Investi-
gating officer, Dick Crippen.
Police Chief Crippen said
Mrs, Wanda Norma was nego-
tiating a left hand turn, into
Cherokee Laundry, when
Jessie James Cox hit her from
behing.
Cox was charged with "fol-
lowing too close."
The vehicle of Mrs. Norman
sustained little damage, while
that of Cox received a broken
grill and radiator. Estimated
cost of repair was placed at
afjout $150,
Mrs. Norman was driving
a *65 Chevrolet, and Cox a
'61 Ford, The accident oc-
curred around 7;45 a.m.

grapher with all the neces-
sary equipment for this,
specialized work will be at
the Rusk Hotel on Tuesday,
June 3. Pictures will be taken
from 10;00 a.m. to 6;00p,m. on
that date.
NO CHARGE TO PARENTS
There is no charge to the pa-
rents. There are absolutely
no strings to this invitation.
It is bonaflde in every sense
of the word. Parents do not
have to be subscribers, nor
even readers of this newspa-
per to take advantage of this
feature. Neither are they ob-
ligated to purchase pictures
after they are taken. Those
who want some additional
prints may obtain a limited
number by arrangement with
the studio representative
when they select the pose they
want printed In the paper. It
is entirely up to them.
THE MORE PICTURES THE
BETTER
This paper simply wants pic-
tures of all the youngsters
and the more the better. So
the mothers and fathers of the
community in which this paper
circulates should remember
the date; Tuesday, June 3rd
and bring their children to the
photographer.
You will be mighty glad af-
terwards, if you did and very
very sorry if you do not per-
mit your children to partici-
pate in this event. The kid-
dies will have fun and both
mother and dad and the youn-
gster too will be very proud
to see their pictures in print
later.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION was held last
Thursday at Rusk High School. Thirteen new members were
inducted into the honor society. Gail Fisher, Carol Burton,
and Kenneth Connolly became members last year. Back
