It’s time again to start
decorating lighted floats —
the Annual Lighted Christ-
mas Parade is less than
two weeks away.
Scheduled for Saturday,
December 4 at 6:30 p.m., it
is the seventh annual
event.
Santa Claus will be back
in town and will ride on a
fire truck.
“For safety reasons, ab-
solutely no candy or other
items may be thrown to the
crowd.”
Judging will begin at
5:30 p.m. and awards will
be given for first through
third place in commercial
wheeled, noncommercial
wheeled and non-wheeled
categories. All entries must
be at parade headquarters
at 1110 Berry by 5 p.m. for
judging.
The parade will begin
near the senior center on
Berry Street, will travel
east on Luce to Ford, will
head north on Ford to
Main, then west back to
Berry where it will end
back at the senior center.
