Brown, Jr. The warrant reads: "To the Sheriff or any Constable, or other Peace Officer, of Dallas County, Texas--Greeting: Whereas, complaint in writing, under oath, has been made before me by E. L. Boyd and M. G. Hall, alleging that a certain place in Dallas County, Texas, described as 3508 Oak Lawn in the City of Dallas, Texas, and known as the Vegas Club and being the premises under the control and in charge of Jack Leon Ruby and persons unknown is a place where implements are kept for the purpose of aiding in the commission of an offense as defined by the Penal Code of the State of Texas, to-wit: murder of Lee Harvey Oswald on the 24th day of November, 1963. You are therefore commanded to forthwith search the place above named and described where implements, such as are above named, are kept for the purpose of aiding in the commission of the offense of murder and if you find there any such implements, you will seize the same and bring the same before me at Dallas, in Dallas County, Texas, and you will also arrest and bring before me at said place the said persons unknown, the said Jack Leon Ruby being presently confined in jail, suspected of having charge of said above described place, and you will also arrest and bring before me at said place all other parties found in said premises or trying to make their escape therefrom. Herein fail not, and due return make thereof to me at the place above named within three days from the issuance of this warrant. Witness my official signature this 24th day of November, A.D. 1963."
